The Nisswa Elementary PTO is excited to share this year’s Bloom theme, and it’s Duck, Duck, Bloom — Minnesota-inspired and centered on community, generosity, and showing up for kids. 📅 Friday, April 17, 2026 📍 The Catalyst by Nature Link | Nisswa

Bloom is the annual fundraiser hosted by the Nisswa Elementary PTO, and it’s one of those events where people come together to support meaningful experiences for students — for each other and for kids, usually with tater tot hotdish. Bloom helps fund field trips, learning opportunities, school-wide celebrations, and those only-in-Nisswa extras that make a difference.

 No rush — just something to keep in mind as you’re thinking about who you might bring along.

👕 ATTIRE (THE MINNESOTA WAY)
Formal, not formal, or somewhere comfortably in between.
Whatever says Minnesota to you, we’d love to see it.

That might be a favorite band tee, a hometown nod, a well-worn story about that snowstorm (you know the one), or something that just feels right. It could also be hockey gear, flannel, boots, denim, ready-to-camp or ready-to-fish — or none of the above.

Layer up or don’t. It’s April.
However you show up, you’ll fit right in.

We’re looking for quality donations — items, experiences, or opportunities that folks would be genuinely excited to bid on and enjoy.

Donations don’t need to be Minnesota-based, though we truly value and appreciate support from our local Minnesota people and businesses. Great experiences from anywhere are always welcome.

If it’s something you’d be excited to receive or give as a gift, it’s likely a great fit for Bloom.
