🌟 THE 2026 NISSWA PTO GLOW RUN IS COMING! 🌟

The Nisswa PTO Glow Run is a school-wide fundraiser where our gym transforms into a glowing, high-energy space filled with music, lights, glow sticks, and school spirit! 💙✨ During their class time, students will run, walk, or dance through the Glow Run course — participation and fun are what matter most.

💙 WHY IT MATTERS

Funds raised through the Glow Run go directly back to our students. The Nisswa PTO uses these funds to support:
• Field trips and enrichment opportunities
• Classroom materials and teacher requests
• Transportation and busing
• Special learning experiences for students
Your support helps strengthen our school community and ensures all students can participate and thrive.

⭐ Official Glow Run Fundraising Kickoff: Thursday, January 22, 2026
⭐ Glow Run Event Day: Friday, January 30, 2026

✅ QUICK START FOR FAMILIES

• Right now: You can get your student register online to be ready on MyBooster.com
• On January 22: Families will receive a link to create a student Glow Run page
• After signing up: You may share your student’s page with family and friends if you choose
• On January 30: All students participate in the Glow Run during the school day — no fundraising required
 all will participate. YES, come and cheer on your WARRIOR...The schedule is below. 

🏃‍♂️✨ GLOW RUN EVENT DAY DETAILS

📍 Nisswa Elementary Gymnasium
🕗 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Each class will participate in a 50-minute Glow Run rotation that includes:
     • Welcome & updates
     • Glow Run explanation
     • 25 minutes of Glow Run fun (running, jogging, walking, or dancing)
     • Thank you & wrap-up
     • Transition to the STEM Room with Mr. Koman for rest and relaxation

⏰ GRADE-LEVEL START TIMES

• 4th Grade: 8:30 AM
• 3rd Grade: 9:20 AM
• 5th Grade: 10:10 AM
• Kindergarten: 12:10 PM
• 1st Grade: 1:00 PM
• 2nd Grade: 1:50 PM
• Preschool: TBD how they will participate...smaller scale and no pressure experience within the classroom setting 😍 (No class on Fridays so the 30th conflicts)

💡 HOW THE FUNDRAISER WORKS

• Students are sponsored by donors (family, friends, neighbors, and community members)
• Donations are flat amounts (not per lap)
• Students do not need to meet a running goal
• Every student participates, regardless of fundraising
• Donations open after the official kickoff on January 22 and are collected online
Example: If a donor gives $15 to sponsor a student, that $15 counts toward the fundraiser and the student earns the prize connected to that level.

💛 IMPORTANT TO KNOW

• No donation is required for students to participate
• Students are never compared to one another
• Prizes celebrate participation and effort, not competition
• This event is designed to be inclusive, positive, and fun for every student

🎁 STUDENT PRIZE LEVELS

Students earn prizes based on total donations collected:
• $10     • $25     • $50     • $75     • $100+
Exact prize items will be shared closer to the event.

🎉 SCHOOL-WIDE INCENTIVE

We’re working toward a $27,000 school-wide goal!
If we reach it:
🎈 Blow-Up Raske will wear a blow-up costume ALL DAY on Glow Run Day
🎈 Surprise staff members will appear as guest blow-up characters
🎈 Blow-up appearances will continue at celebrations and events for the rest of the school year
